About the WACA Invest
The West and Central Africa Investment Summit (WACA Investment Summit) is an event of private financing which brings together companies and projects from West and Central Africa, and various investors wishing to enter the markets from sub-Saharan Africa. This intermediation and communication event promotes African companies that would like to expand or internationalize.
This is equally an opportunity to discuss, deliberate, and find solutions to the actual challenges which investors and companies face, within the growing regions of Sub-Saharan Africa.
The theme of this first edition is: “Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Investments in West and Central Africa”. The purpose of this theme is to ensure that the different actors submit to the managerial transparency requirements and rigorous reporting according to ESG’s international standards.
We are vividly convinced that ESG’s managerial approaches are those which African companies need for a sane and long-lasting growth. These are equally those managerial and transparency rules which reassure investors who are happy to contribute, reinforce and concretize the economic potential of Sub-Saharan Africa, which for so long has been spoken of yet is still awaited in so many aspects.
